Meet the Neighbours - Rebecca Rowell
Rebecca is a local visual artist/photographer/printmaker specialising in landscape photography and community craft workshops that encourage artistic expression.
She enjoys creating solo, and coming together with other artists and or professionals to put together events and exhibitions.
Rebecca says: “I love being in North Shields for its coastal charm, sense of community, proximity to the Fish Quay and central public transport connections.”
Rebecca is having an exhibition in North Shields Library from 3 January to 31 January. She says: “My exhibition draws inspiration from everyday moments of beauty, capturing visual stories of people, places, and landscapes. A profound experience in Northumberland Park, where beams of light filtered through the trees, revealed the symbolic power of light as a beacon of hope and new beginnings. Through my photography, I aim to immerse viewers in a journey of truth, light, and a deep connection to the beauty and emotion found in the world around us.”
